The Wonders of Iceland

Image
The Wonders of Iceland  Iceland is one of the most tranquil countries I have visited.  You will not hear people screaming or parties taking over the sounds of the streets. I visited during the the summertime (June 2019) when the sun is out for 15-22 hours per day. It sounds odd to sleep and spend your night when the sun is out, but for me it was amazing as I felt as if positivity in the air 24/7! I visited the Blue Lagoon, one of the 25 wonders of the world, and had an unforgetable experience. The Blue Lagoon comprises of rich mineral water and has a high concentration of Silica creating good effects on peoples' skin. It was a very relaxing experience and I was able to meet people from around the world.  In Iceland, I also had the chance to go under a glacier with my family! We had to wear layers of clothes to avoid the freezing temperatures. It was compact and slippery on the inside but beautiful. Icicles were everywhere and the thick ice made an a ma...

The Extravagance of Dubai

Image
The Extravagance of Dubai Dubai is one of the most extravagant countries in the world. Dubai contains an extraordinary amount of ravishing tourist sites. I had the opportunity to visit the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. It was well worth the hype as it had an astonishing view and facts about how the building was written in the halls. Shopping was one of my top activities to do when I visited Dubai. The Dubai Mall is one of the world's largest malls, containing around twelve million square feet!  As you would expect it took many hours to shop and I had to eventually leave the mall so I would not spend more money. Unless you have a sensitive stomach I recommend going on a Desert Safari! It is not a typical safari where you go through a forest examining the different animals and nature it is an exhilarating ride in a jeep going up and down sand hills. I felt as if the car was going to flip constantly though the joyful ride was done safely. Culture What defines ...

Majestic Malaysia

Majestic Malaysia Have you been to Malaysia? It is a gorgeous country with countless activities to do! I travel to Malaysia often and usually stay in the city of Kula Lumpur, but I haven't been there since COVID. I have not done many tours in Malaysia though I have learned many things from the locals and just with the view of my own eyes. The locals are always friendly with the tourist and I noticed that the locals always treat elders with respect. Malaysia is a tropical country therefore it rains often as well as it has a hot and humid climate year-round. I have visited beautiful gardens and rainforests concluding Malaysia is surrounded by an immense amount of nature. I will definitely be making more trips to Malaysia in the future. One thing that is embedded into the culture of Malaysia is something we all love and cherish, food! Malaysia is full of diversity bringing different cultural cuis...

Why we Should Move to Uruguay

Image
Why we should move to Uruguay I did not think much about visiting Uruguay as I expected it to be a normal country. Though when I arrived tall buildings were not present and everything had a cozy feel to it. The people there are very kind and hospitable. Most people who live in the country are in the middle class as only 3% of the population is considered poor. This makes the country safe since most people are not in need of more money there is no need for anyone to indulge in criminal behavior. Our tour guide also told us about their interesting education system. First not like the United States and other countries public school have better education and is free! International students receive free college education as well as free housing. Uruguay sure is a country I would want to move to! Pictures of the Astonishing City

The Beauty of Brazil

Image
The Beauty of Brazil After visiting Brazil I learned many things about the intriguing country. One of the first differences in the culture I saw between the U.S as well as many other countries is their love for soccer. On the first night, I and my family went to eat traditionally Brazilian food and in the front of the restaurant, a big screen was displaying the soccer game that was going on. People were screaming in excitement and sadness constantly, and I noticed that most restaurants we went to displayed soccer on their television screens. What really brought their love for soccer to my attention was when I visited a soccer game, Flamengo vs Fluminense. At first, I did not know what to expect but when I arrived there was a huge crowd. People stood the whole game chanting in unity and excitement bringing me to the conclusion that soccer is in the heart of many in Brazil. I also noticed Brazil is a poor country though hard workers surround the country. Something odd I noticed wa...
